Average weekly earnings up 0.5% in Nov Q

Average weekly ordinary time earnings (AWOTE) for adult full-time employees rose 0.5 per cent in the three months to November, according to official figures.
The annual rate of growth was 4.3 per cent, seasonally-adjusted, the Australian Bureau of Statistics reported on Thursday.
The survey, conducted every three months, also showed AWOTE for the private and public sectors was $1,330.00.
Private sector AWOTE was up 0.4 per cent in the quarter to $1,303.00, seasonally adjusted, for an annual rise of 4.4 per cent.
Public sector AWOTE was up 0.7 per cent to $1,426.00, seasonally adjusted, in the same period for an annual rise of 4.0 per cent.
